Currently, more than 500 species are recorded in the world and many have not been found or have been named yet. hoya flower is characterized by 5 wings, their pistil also has 5 wings, with 5 alternating stems like sparkling interwoven stars. Sometimes they mutate and the flower has more or less than 5 wings. But very rare.

Most species of tickle flower bloom in clusters, but there is an exception to that which leaves only one flower.

The common hoya leaf that they have a symmetrical, thick leaf shape and sometimes contain opaque white plastic. There is a special species of hoya plant, they have only one leaf that grows attached to the trunk of the wood like a tortoise shell. Thick leaves help to store water for the drought months.

Trunk and root

The stems of hoya will most likely be of a climbing pattern, while a small number of them will be standing, for example, Hoya multiflora and Hoya densiflora

Hoya root is a strong root that is able to absorb nutrients quickly. In nature they live on cliffs and tree trunks. Absorbs nutrients from decomposed deciduous leaves, large bark and rainwater.
